Hi i’m Siena Hermon! Growing up I was always around the cycling scene with my father being a professional XC racer and owning a bike shop, Bear Valley Bikes. I had always been around the bike but had little interest in pursing it. Instead, I choose basketball which I loved and gave my heart and sole to. Once High School ended, I knew I needed to find a new hobby that would bring me the passion and joy basketball brought me.

That is when I found cycling, I first started going for easy rides and enjoying myself but realized I loved the challenge and I wanted to continue to push myself farther and father each time I road. I entered my first race and I loved it. I remember saying to my friends at the time, “Wow! I don’t think I could ever ride more than 7 miles!” because it truly was one of the hardest things I had done.

Now looking at where I am now, I have continued to push each and every boundary I have ever had for myself. Now signing up and competing races over 100 miles — and not only that — being competitive in those races. In 2024, I won the Grizzly 100 MTB race and the Gigante de Piedra race in Spain. I kicked off 2025 with a 2nd place at the Rockcobbler. I know this is just the beginning of a flourishing career.
